Gold Dust West, in Reno, NV. It's a fun 'locals' casino & has special events: drawings (usually Sat. Nights) Bingo, Girls Nite Out, etc. Also, can find good eats at its restaurant or order appetizers while you're at the bar.

Walk into any casino...look at a video poker machine paytable, if it states 9/6, 9/5 for a full house/flush that's pretty good. Check out a video keno machine paytable, if it states 6640 for 6/6 with 4 coins in, it's good. If you don't know what the afore mentioned pay outs mean....you should not be playing anything until you do. Know the game you are going to play!!! Tthose rates usually set the tone for the general payback for the entire casino.

I agree that Bonanza is great. I think it's one of the only places where you don't have to wait 30 minutes to get a drink while you're playing. The employees are also really friendly and they remember you. I like GSR for the $7.77 local buffet.
